It could be said that we’ve been pretty wowed by the latest crop of Idaho-7 here at Polly’s. As soon as our first delivery of the year landed, we knew we’d scored an incredible crop and it’s one that routinely sets the phasers to hype across the entire spectrum of the brewery, so what better to celebrate such a potent, wickedly flavoursome hop than a bold, amplified, maxed out DIPA? Late Night Phone Call is our big tribute to an incredible varietal that absolutely sings from the rooftops that this is a Polly’s DIPA and it means serious business. Utilising both the T-90 and CGX versions of this hop, this beer absolutely bursts with an abundance of Pineapple, mango and grapefruit, with heavy lashings of soft apricot notes before closing out with light floral undertones and earthy black tea.
