Little Korkny Ale (2008) by Nørrebro Bryghus

Little Korkny Ale, Bronze medal winner at the 2008 World Beer Cup amin the Aged Beer category, is a very strong and full-bodied barley wine. The flavor is winey and spicy, and the palate is very warming and intense with notes of plums, dried fruits and caramel. The afterpalate is long, complex and sweet, and gets more rich and harmonius with age. This is why we state the vintage on the bottles, that are never released before the beer is at least two years old. Enjoy Little Korkny Ale with aged blue cheeses or instead of a cognac after dinner.
